Spirulina, one of the herbs contained in Herbal Aktiv Peel is estimated to contain 250 vitamins, minerals and trace elements. The Herbal Aktiv peels uses only natural vitamins, herbs and ingredients to peel the skin naturally and safely. It allows the surface skin to remain intact while the skin sheds under it. The new skin is protected until your new skin is ready to be exposed to the natural environment. The Herbal Aktiv peel is suitable for people who have wrinkles, sun damage, fine lines, freckles/sun spots, scarring, pigmentation, acne/pimples, enlarged pores, blackheads/milia, stretch marks, loss of skin elasticity and skin rejuvenation.
When you have a Herbal Aktiv peel, your beauty therapist will apply the Herbal Aktiv peel and massage it in for up to 10 minutes. Your skin will be flushed and hot, and will remain tight for at least the next 3 – 5 days. When you leave Skin Beautiful your skin will begin to peel after 3 days. After 5 days, your new skin will be ready to be revealed. Not everyone will peel and not everyone will peel the same. Various factors can affect your peeling including if you have smoked, used acids on your skin and certain illnesses. It is important to discuss any factors with your Beauty Therapist before commencing the Herbal Aktiv Peel. It is important that you do not go out in the sun for 5 days after your Herbal Aktiv peel or if you do go out in the sun, it is important to apply a SPF 30+ sunscreen such as the BB Cream. As some skins cannot cope or if you have a medical history that will have an adverse reaction to the Herbal Aktiv peel, you will be asked some questions to determine how successful your skin will be.
Herbal Aktiv Peel: this is where your beauty therapist will message the herbal aktiv peel into your skin for up to 10 minutes. This peel is excellent for people who wants an intensive peel and for those who have scarring. If this is your first peel you also have 3 take home products for you to use over the next 5 days. The second peel, is cheaper as you do not need the 3 take home products. In 5 days time, you will come in for a facial and to reveal your new skin. It is important not to get your skin wet for 5 days and to only use your Herbal Aktiv peel products on your skin during this time. Most skin’s will peel, 3 days after the Herbal Aktiv peel but some will not, it depends on your skin condition, if you have had any peels done in the past, if you are sick and if you have any scarring.
Herbal Aktiv Mini Peel: this peel your beauty therapist will message the peel into your skin for 4 minutes. This peel is also good for scarring, anti-aging and clogging. You can use your normal Dr Spiller or Environ skin care after having this peel. Your beauty therapist will advice you on what skin care products you should be using after your mini peel. It is important not to get your skin wet for 3 days and to use an intensive moisturiser like Rinazell on your skin to heel it. Some skin’s will peel, 3 days after the Herbal Aktiv peel but some will not, it depends on your skin condition, if you have had any peels done in the past, if you are sick or if you have any scarring.
Herbal Aktiv BPeel: this is a facial treatment where your beauty therapist uses a Herbal Aktiv peel mixture on your skin but your skin will not peel. This is a maintenance facial that will help with congestion, blackheads and an anti-aging treatment.
